 There is a little kid in me that just wants to play with clay and create characters, I have always been drawn to humour in art, and when I discovered clay there was no stopping me. Even now, I get really excited about creating a new creature, it’s stance, wit, the use of colour and line to enhance the form. The humour is important, but not at the expense of the design of the form.

I am really drawn to strong graphic shapes, the appeal of 50s cartoons is evident in my designs, I love their vintage illustrative style, playful, yet drawing reference from a very modern cultural aesthetic. In my patterns I really start to have a lot of fun, they come from a mix of very painterly collages that I do and then cut out shapes done on the computer.

High quality means a lot to us. We want you to enjoy that ‘new love’ feeling for even longer, and give gifts that last.

Ceramic tableware is handmade from stoneware and unless marked as such is dishwasher & microwave safe
