Drifting Herons is made up of husband and wife team Richard and Maria Cranfield. Our creative journey started in 2016 when we began creating Driftwood art from wood found on our local beaches. We have no evolved the business to incorporate new digital technology and have added a Oculus Laser Cutter, alongside more traditional tools and materials, to bring our ideas to life.
Our products are handmade in our tiny Devon cottage near the sea. Our surroundings of both Blackpool Sands and Slapton Sands and the endless dog walks with our Springer Spaniel Essie, are a constant inspiration to create fun and quirky designs.
