East End Press is a printing and design studio based in the east end of Glasgow. The studio was founded in 2015 by designer Ellie Hodesdon, and now works with crafts people all over the world to create beautifully made colourful objects for your home. The work of East End Press was always inspired by the traditional crafts and folk art of other cultures so it was a natural progression, and a dream come true, to work with printers and crafts people all over the world. All products sold by East End Press are hand printed, hand painted or hand dyed, skilled human hands have made these products individually with craftsmanship and care, and we think that is really special.
Each garland is 3 metres long, and features ten paper shapes, sewn along strong cotton thread. The garlands are screen printed by hand on both sides by talented artisans in Jaipur. Please note as every garland is hand printed it may vary slightly from the photograph, this just adds to the charm!
