Kim Tillyer Greeting Cards

Kim grew up in London, but her family roots are in the North and every summer was spent in the North York Moors. As a mature student she attended Cleveland College of Art & Design, surprising herself by gaining a first class honours degree in Textiles and Surface Design. Kim now lives in a remote cottage in the Lake District, where, inspired by the myths, legends and fairytales of the North, she works in a wide variety of media, often incorporating stitch and unusual print techniques, such as cyanotype, to create highly individual pieces infused with emotion.
